As for the content of this blog... I don't think I will have any particular theme or topic to write about. It will be a place for me to write down anything memorable from the day, to share thoughts, and to post any interesting links I might find. I mostly see it as being a self-beneficial blog, but if other people end up reading it as well, great!
I'm not the kind of person who is going to post blogs saying, "Oh my god! I just made muffins!" The end. No, it needs to have more substance in order to be worthy of this blog. That sort of stuff can stay on facebook (or Twitter, if you're part of that world). Now if something particularly amazing happened while making the muffins, that's a whole different story. Anyway, point is that I'll do my best to keep the topics interesting and not pointless.
In response to friends who will surely give me a hard time about not being consistent in my writing, let me just say that I have no intention to write every single day. If that could happen, that would be awesome! However, being a college student and all, there's a lot of homework and socializing to be done. I'll do my best to be as consistent as possible, but no promises. Hopefully that homework and socializing will inspire some of my posts...
I'll end by sharing what created most of my laughter today. Casey and I were just hanging out, and I'm not even sure how we came across this, but we found a particularly ridiculous calendar online. This calendar's theme is 'Hot Guys and Baby Animals'. I mean, really? How stupid can people get? I guess I can't completely put it down because it definitely brought us lots of laughter! As funny as it was, I still think it's a new low that I've seen in the world. If you need a good laugh, or if you want to get annoyed at the stupidity of some people these days, here's the link: http://www.hotguysandbabyanimals.com/
You can get your very own calendar of 'hot guys and baby animals' for only $14.95! (Or something like that... Hahaha.)
That's all for now! Off to try replicating California's mexican food because Maine has issues. Maybe that will be my next topic to write about! :-)
